FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS...
1) Where can I park to attend the event?
Parking is available in various lots throughout downtown. The closest lot to our porch can be found at Roanoke Island Festival Park, where a short walk over the pedestrian bridge will lead you straight to the music.

2) Is parking free?
YES, but in appropriate, public parking areas.
3) Is seating 'first-come-first-serve'?
YES. You can bring a blanket or a lawn chair and plant camp starting at 6 pm -- one hour before the pickin' begins on our porch.
4) Can I bring a cooler with food and alcoholic beverages?
YES, but (a big but), you must bring cups to pour your alcohol into, pertaining to the town of Manteo's public drinking ordinances. The town of Manteo permits alcoholic beverages throughout downtown as long as you have it in a cup.
5) What happens when it rains?
In the Outer Banks, when it rains -- it pours! When this happens, we'll move the festivities under the spacious Magnolia Pavilion (next door to our porch!). In severe weather we will move the event inside at the Dare County Arts County Building. Be sure to check this website on the day of the show for updates.
6) Will there be restrooms nearby the event?
YES. There are handicap-accessible restrooms located at the Magnolia Pavilion, which is right next door to our event.
7) Will the Bluegrass Island Trading Co. store be open during the event?
YES! During our music breaks for the bands, the store will be open to browse & purchase gifts and make sure you enjoy some of our hand-dipped ice cream.

8) Is this event pet friendly?
YES! As long as your animal is on a leash and is not disturbing other event-goers during the concert.

9) What time should I arrive?
We suggest arriving by 6:30pm to get a good spot.
